DIOCESAN LENTEN APPEAL:  To date, 117 of our 356 families have pledged/paid $13,985 which is 69% of our $20,145 goal. This includes a Diocesan target of $15,145 plus $5,000 (assessment-free) for our parish needs.  Please consider contributing to this very important appeal ASAP if you have not yet done so.  DLA envelopes remain in the church pews in case the materials mailed to you were misplaced. Every gift is greatly appreciated.
THE SECOND COLLECTION on Good Friday (22nd) will be taken for the support of the services and facilities of the Church in the Holy Land and for the education and social service support of our Christian brothers and sisters there, who are desperately in need of our help.

THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION will be administered by Bishop Brandt on Pentecost Sunday (June 12th) at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral to baptized but un-confirmed adults and youths who are beyond 3rd grade in school. One session of instructions will be provided here. Call the parish office to register.

125th ANNIVERSARY OF ST. JOSEPH PARISH will be celebrated in 2012. Plans are already being made and put into motion. Old photos that might be used in a special parish calendar for 2012 are needed now. If you have any that you would be willing to loan our planning committee, please leave them in the box in the church foyer or bring them to the parish office. You can also give them directly to Stan Komenda. Be sure your name is on the photo or its envelope so that it can be returned to you. Other parish memorabilia will also be needed at a later date.

THE ST. JOSEPH SOCIETY thanks everyone who supported the Pierogi Sale and helped to make it a great success.  All profits will be used for the support of St. Joseph Parish.
