PENNSYLVANIA CATHOLIC CONFERENCE (PCC) UPDATE:

  • A new poll (April 13-14) among 600 likely voters throughout Pennsylvania showed that respondents, by a margin of 54% to 39%, favored pending legislation known as Senate Bill 1. This bill would support school choice through an Opportunity Scholarship Grant program.
  • Abortion clinics would be required to meet the same health standards as other surgical facilities under a new bill, HB 574, introduced in the Pennsylvania House. The need for this reform was made evident in the recent criminal and malpractice case of a Philadelphia abortionist. Please contact your legislator to convey your support for House Bill 574.
